The Controller is CommV Karen Liekens, with its registered office at 9000 Ghent, Zandpoortstraat 25, Belgium, with company number 0776.903.385, trading under the trade name 'De 7even', with its contact person being Mrs. Karen Liekens, (hoi@karenliekens.com) (hereinafter "De 7even", "We", or the "Controller").  

  

The Controller makes every effort to respect your privacy rights to the fullest extent possible. The Controller hereby complies with the European Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter "GDPR") and/or any future or additional legislation applicable.

Your health data that you provide to us in the context of an online screening or in the context of a personal consultation, we process with your express consent m.o.o. the provision of correct customized health advice.

To comply with the obligations imposed on the controller within the framework of legal and administrative obligations;  

  

To comply with tax and accounting obligations.

4.2 Method of processing  

  

Your data will always be treated confidentially, not traded, sold, rented or passed on to third parties outside the contractual relationship or a specific assignment.  

  

In order to offer its services, the Controller may be assisted by a selective number of processors. If they have access to your personal data, the necessary guarantees are obtained with them in accordance with the GDPR. The data will always be stored within the EU.  

  

In rare cases, the Controller may be required to disclose your personal data pursuant to a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations. The Controller will make reasonable efforts to inform you in advance in this regard, unless subject to legal restrictions.  

  

Personal data will be processed by the Controller for a period necessary for the purposes of the processing. Thereafter, your data will be deleted or made anonymous.

De 7even provides appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent, within the scope of its activities, the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorized access or inadvertent disclosure to third parties of personal data collected as well as any other unauthorized processing of this data.  

  

Under no circumstances can The 7even be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from an erroneous or unlawful use by a third party of your personal data.

6.1 Right of access  

  

You have the right to inspect the personal data that The 7even processes about you at any time free of charge.  

  

6.2 Right of rectification, deletion and restriction  

  

You are free to communicate or not communicate your personal data to De 7even. In addition, you always have the right to request The 7even to correct, supplement or delete your personal data. You acknowledge that in the event of refusal to communicate or request the deletion of personal data, certain services may not be available.  

  

You may also ask to restrict the processing of your personal data. 

 

6.3 Right of opposition  

  

You have a right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons.  

  

In addition, you always have the right to oppose the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in such case, you do not even have to provide reasons.

You may exercise your rights by contacting The 7even for this purpose, either by e-mail to hoi@karenliekens.com or by post, by sending a letter to the registered office of The 7even, enclosing a copy of the front of your identity card or any other document by which you can be identified. This identification data will only be used to identify you in accordance with the GDPR, then deleted and used for no other purposes.  

  

6.7 Automatic decisions and profiling.  

  

An online screening tool, quiz or questionnaire will create a health profile of you in an automated way, but you always have the option to make an appointment with us to discuss the results of the automated screening in person.  

  

6.8 Right to file a complaint

This is without prejudice to a remedy before a civil court.  

  

  1. Changes 

  

The Controller reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time by notifying users on this page. We encourage you to check this page frequently for any changes. The date of the last modification is indicated at the bottom of the page.  

  

If a data subject objects to any change in the policy, the user should not continue to use this website and/or stop cooperating with The 7even. He may request the Controller to delete the personal data. Unless otherwise indicated, the currently valid privacy policy applies to all personal data stored by the Controller about data subjects.
